Yep, can't see anybody in a job wanting to leave at this stage of the season.

Plus a new manager coming in now is going to need time to settle and learn about the players, wont help i nthe race for 4th this season I wouldn't have funk.

In his place, would you honeslty walk away from a £16m+ contract? Think he would go if Pool offered him a good deal, but who would walk away from that sort of money without either being pushed, or having another job lined up?

depends on what i said in the past. plus he only gets compo for the time he doesnt work. if he really cares about the club like he always says then he will put the club first. good test of character i would say

and i probably wouldnt walk away, i am a selfish git and i am proud of that

Also gets compo if the next job pays less money, but wouldnt get anything if just packs up sticks and walks. £80kpw is a lot to walk away from.

Thing is, would Rafa want to stay after the season he's had. And would he want to stay just for the pay cheque if he knew the club didn't want him? And if the club did sack him, is he the kind of person that would sit on his fat arse just for the pay cheque or would he find another manager job. Love him or hate him, he doesn't seem like that type of bloke. He lives and breathes football and is literally fascinated by the sport so I think he would rather earn his money actually managing a football club. I'm pretty sure he would get the kind of wages he's on now from a lot of clubs that would want him so I don't really think he has anything to lose.
