Valencia travel to out-of-form Sporting in the first game of the weekend, a ground where they've won in there past three visits. Sporting's form has seen them drop down the tablem, losing their last 4 league games and have only recorded one win in 9. Valencia lie second in the form table with 4 wins in 6 just behind leaders Barcelona, although 3 of their 4 wins came at home and they are without a win in 3 on the road. Valencia should pick up the 3 points here.

Madrid's game against bottom of the table Xerez is an away banker. Madrid's defence has been in good form of late, only conceeding twice in the last 7 games, while Xerez have the worst attack in the league, scoring just 12 goals this term. Real Madrid beat Xerez 5-0 earlier in the campaign and I wouldn't back against a similar scoreline again tomorrow.

Villarreal are in poor form picking up just one win in their last 6. Although their performances are showing some signs on improvement under the new manager and I think the'll pick up atleast a point against Bilbao who struggled to overcome Xerez last weekend, needing a late Llorente winner to secure all 3 points.

Barca's trip to Atletico Madrid is the game of the weekend no doubt, the last two games between these two have produce 14 goals! Barcelona don't have great record at the Calderon, winning just once in their last seven and Atletico have won the last two. Puyol, Milito and Maxwell are the only defenders available to Guardiola at the weekend due to injuries and suspensions. I reckon Atleti will get atleast two against Barca's depleated defence and will pick up atleast a point.
