I know theres a few FF fans out there, can't wait to play the 13th installment of the main line of the game. Came out in Japan in December and managed to sell 1 million copies within its first day!

Loads of gameplay videos up on youtube now and it looks excellent, a return to some of the best the game has offered in the past, the battle scenes certainly look impressive. Just a shame to wait so long for the full english port to make its way to us!

Heard some amazing reviews of people who've played the Japanese version. I've got it pre-ordered and I can't bloomin' wait!!

If an RPG can be awesome without the person playing understanding what the vocals are talking about then it must be pretty impressive

aye, says something when some of the reviews are by people cant understand the language the story is in still think its immense!

Glad to see the summonings are back properly too, never could really get into XII so looking forward to this, getting a PS3 slim for me birthday in march so no doubt will be welded to this game once it arrives :D

FF IX with Zidane as the main character, must have played that through about 20 times now, great when you play it again and pick up all the extras along the way that you might have missed out on, especially the extra summons :D

XII was one of the only one's I didn't play.

I have to say that I really loved FFX. Not sure why as it wasn't the best story or necessarily the best system but something about it jsut made it awesome for me. That is the only one I managed to completely 100%. Took me AGES!!!

FFX-2 was decent but I wasn't a big fan of the "costumes" way of changing your character. FFX was just way more simple.

FF-X was excellent I though in its storyline and the battle system was good too, again completing that fully was some task, getting all of the summons like the Magus sisters and such.

FF X-2 was decent enough but I was dissapointed in that they had just reused so much of the artwork to bleed another game out of it.

Remember when I first got the Ark summon for Garnet in FF IX, talk about complete overkill

FFVIII was the last really good one imo, FFIX was fairly good, but it's gone downhill from there imo.

I though VIII was a bit of a weak point to be honest, obviously it was a big thing to try and follow FF 7 but it still didnt do enough I dont think, hastly made. IX and X were good, X-2 was another rush job and XII just didnt feel like it was even a final fantasy game

Man, I was literally up for 2-3 days on end without sleep when I was trying to get some of the more awkard tasks done in order to get 100%.

Doing that does rather destroy the game in that the most powerful enemy is pathetically weak when all of your characters can completely max out every hit they do at 99,999 damage

The only enemy even worth fighting was Ultima Machine (I think it was called) in the monster arena place on the plain. The main boss and the enemies leading up to it were far to weak if you played through thoroughly. Even playing through normally the first time I was disappointed with the final battle - I had had more difficult ones earlier in the game.

Anyway, FFVII-X were all immense. Still play FFVII on and off.

This game (and future ones in the FF series) was pretty much the only reason I went for a ps3 over an xbox.

It's probably cos it was my 1st FF game :S tot it was so good went out and got IX the next day.

X-2 was god awful imo and I agree with you bout XII, just didn't feel right.

100% clear in VIII, IX, X and X-2
