Jenson has moved over to Mclaren, just being confirmed on SS news, so thats an all british line up of Hamilton and Button for Mclaren, should be a good team that

why so? sure he's probably gonna be playing 2nd to hamilton but he is going to be given potentially one of the best cars in the field for next year if Mclaren turn it around. Even with Mercedes input into Brawn I just cant see them being as competative next season, he would not have won the championship again with them or even come close to my mind. Now he has a chance at a top 3 space at least I would say. |

under ron dennis alonso was second to hamilton and he was a 2 time world champion.kovalainen was second to hamilton under dennis and whitmarsh.also his second half of the season was well below what he achieved in the first half and i think when the pressure is on him he doesnt do well.and with there now being an all british line up in a british team he will be under a lot of pressure and i think he will crack |

aye but Alonso was also one of the best drivers in the field, chances possible with renault and even ferrari rumoured to be in the mix, he would get a good car. Button is a different kettly of fish, he stays with Brawn he will not get anywhere near. Even with the extra money being thrown in the Brawns wont be up to the standard of Mclaren, Ferrari, Renault, Red Bull etc for next year. If he stays he will be well down the list in terms of championship points next year, you only have to look at how they fell away this year. With Mclaren he improves his chances, he would have been playing second fiddle at practically any of the top teams had they come in for him. With Mclaren he has a chance to be there or thereabouts at the end of the season, at Brawn he would be lucky to come near the top 5 |

I dont think he'll be world champion again, dont think he would have got it with any team though. Last season he was lucky to a sense that his team found a cracking loop hole that gave them an advantage. That door is firmly shut now and no way any of the teams will make the same mistake again. So to my mind he has a choice, either stay with what is still considered a middle running team and be their number one driver but fight for 5th/6th place each race. Or move to one of the top teams and be fighting for the odd win and probably a good few podium places to propel him to a potential top 3 finish. The future champions will only be coming from the likes of McLaren, Ferrari et al and each of them already has their favoured driver. He'll achieve better finishes with one of those teams than anywhere else. |

Must be a bit annoying for Button. He is current World Champ, but is on half the money that Hamilton is on. Think they will end up playing on a level playing field and it will show who is best. |
