What an IDIOT
The beast from the east is a monster but cant fight so Haye has a chance imo. If he can get under the big man and under his reach he has the power and accuracy to drop him

How scary would it be stepping upto that

Although saying that it's easier to generate power in a punch swinging upwards than it it swing downwards.

Has he got the power. I dont think so. Valuev has been hit hard a lot of times and it never seems to have an effect. He just keeps his hands up carries on stumbling around and poking out that jab.

Haye is by far the more skilful fighter, but still not convinced he is a true heavyweight. Can see Haye moving in and out and picking up the rounds in 1st half of fight, then it will just depend on whether he tires and gets caught by Valuev or has the fitness to carry on moving for the whole fight. If Haye gets caught by one of Valuev heavy swings, that it..........lights out.

Haye has some serious power and I can easily seeing him flooring Valuev. Whether or not he will be able to get inside the range is another matter as Haye himself is pretty vulnerable to a good punch. I would still go for Haye by KO though.

Dont think Valuev has ever been on the floor. Haye had power at 200lb limit, but how will his power seem at HW? Still not convinced. Valuev has been hit by some true HWs and just seems to shrugs it off and carry on as if nothing happened. Dont get me wrong, dont rate Valuev as a boxer, but his size.........will prob be a full 3rd heavier than Haye, and that would be the same as Amir Khan fighting David Haye.

Can't remember the guys name but Haye's debut at HW was against a bloke that never gets stopped and he KO'd him in the first or second round

Just hope that Valuev doesn't just lean on Haye the whole fight and tire him out. That is my main fear I think.

Monte Barrett. And he had been beaten 6 times before he fought Haye and 3 of them were stoppages. Valuev beat him with a stoppage back in 05.

2 things to remember for this fight - valuev has a massive fan base in germany where the fight is taking place holyfield was robbed of a points decision imo and 2nd haye's chin is not great and has never really been tested against a half decent heavyweight

No, that was his second fight at HW - he had one fight already before officially stepping up full-time. He wasn't particularly well known but he was a fighter picked for being tough but unlikely to beat Haye. I think he'd faught a British fighter a few months earlier and lost on points but can't remember it that clearly - it was a couple of years ago I think.
