Celtic have apparently agreed compensation with West Brom for Mowbray so the deal must be close. I just don't understand why they'd get rid of Strachan on a whim and appoint somebody that's never managed a club anywhere near that big before. :S

Ya I thought he enjoyed managing WBA, and the fans loved him, even on the last day when relegated they were singing his name

not like phil brown when he sang to the fans, *cringe

Stop hating Phil Brown, just because you want his camel.

Maybe he is just seizing the biggest oppurtunity in his career to date, fair play to him. He will make them play good football thats for sure!

Good manager for getting a team promoted from the Championship. How does that compare with managing a team challenging for the title and possibly Champions League football?

This will be interesting to see how he fares in Scottish football. A much bigger club, looking forward to seeing if he can reclaim the title off Rangers.
