Kuyt plays like kuyt... working and battling and annoying defenders... Kuyt has always played that way and the grand majority of people admire him greatly.... The dutch opinion of Kuyt is more positive then that hanging around on this forum... Personally Iīm a big fan of his.... He plays with his heart and he gives his all and he will inspire other players to work harder, and he will run defenses ragged... I think heīs a great player. Maybe not a natural goalscorer but someone who makes a team better as a whole.... His career in the Netherlands was with real clubs of the people. He started his professional career at FC Utrecht and he was immensely popular with the fans for his spirit and exuberance (the exuberance has lessened, heīs more controlled now, which is good, because he really could run himself out after 60/70 minutes in a game) Then he went to Feyenoord and he became an icon there too.... so the short answer is yes the fans do like him... |

yeah heīs a real club man.... but that has to do with his chracter as well.... He does not buy too much crazy stuff and is still a run off the mill dutch bloke....Het started scoring at the end of the season... though I have to admit he necer was a real goalgetter.... |

I agree.... Lotīs of people slate him for that, and he deserves some criticism there, but they seem to forget the other things he brings to the team.... Rafa does see it though.... |

It's nearly Christmas
|
That's why I often see Liverpool fans wanting him replaced in the team. Is it still 4-3-3 Dutch? No Huntelaar? |
