im no talking bout Liverpool v Man Utd, i mean proper rivialries where people get murdered for supporting the opponents

I'll start it off

Celtic v Rangers

So this is permanence, love's shattered pride

The fener galayasaray rivalry is almost unrivalled. Galatasaray is the club of the alevi's (a religious and cultural minority in Turkey, who practises a very liberal form of Islam) The alevi's have a long history of oppression by the turkish state (still happening although less so) since pretty much the 17th century. Fener is the Turkish team. Combine THAT rivalry with the craziness of the Turks when it comes to football, and you have a literally very explosive mix

Boca Juniors vs River Plate (I think) regularly massive fights break out between their supporters.

Cliftonville V Linfield, like a mini old firm, where both sets of fans get an armed police escort to the others ground.
They seek him there,
they seek him here,
his name is,
Joe 'f*cking' Kinnear
