I don't know who was 2nd or 3rd so maybe someone can enlighten me? Here are the other 10 named in the list... Gianluigi Buffon (Italy/Juventus); Alessandro Nesta (Italy/AC Milan), Fabio Cannavaro (Italy/Real Madrid), John Terry (England/Chelsea), Carles Puyol (Spain/Barcelona). Steven Gerrard (England/Liverpool), Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal/Manchester United), Lionel Messi (Argentina/Barcelona), Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast/Chelsea), Ronaldinho (Brazil/Barcelona) Wot are your thoughts? I can't understand why Buffon and Puyol are there??? And where's Ruud Van Nistlerooy?

Ronaldinho has done fork-all the past year, he shouldnt be there. Puyol is over-rated, not a very good defender, shouldnt be there. Em you gotta have a GK dont you, they always do I think. I wouldnt have Gerrard there either. Scholes instead. Ruud should definetly be there.
