His complete name is Gabriel Omar Batistuta. He was born February 1, 1969. Batistuta who is an ex- expert soccer player has a nickname as Batigol. The efficient Argentine striker played almost his whole club at Fiorentina in Italy. With 184 goals in 318 matches in between 1991 and 2003, Batistuta is the ninth top scorer of all time in the Italian Serie A league.
While for Argentina’s national group, with 56 objectives in 78 nationwide team matches he is the all-time greatest scorer. Batistuta represented his nation at 3 FIFA World Cups. He was called in the FIFA 100 list of the “125 Greatest Living Footballers” In 2004.
In 1991, Batistuta was elected to take part in Argentina in the Copa América kept in Chile, where he ended the competitors as top scorer with 6 objectives as Argentina romped to victory.
